About CoachingPortal

CoachingPortal exists because coaching is one service and most software still treats it as five. We built one portal for training, nutrition, check-ins, messaging, and progress, under the coach’s brand.

The branded experience is a client portal at yourname.coachingportal.io plus shared native iOS and Android apps listed as CoachingPortal. It is not a coach-named App Store or Play Store listing.

Who runs CoachingPortal

CoachingPortal is operated by ClearInsite LLC (Indiana) and was founded in June 2025 by Matt Gilbert. He leads product and engineering directly.

Matt is not a certified coach. The product point of view comes from 15+ years of consistent gym training and four years as a paying online-coaching client. CoachingPortal reflects the workflows that actually mattered in that relationship — programs that adapted to recovery and missed sessions, weekly check-ins that surfaced what the coach needed to see, and nutrition guidance that lived in the same place as training.

Coaching-methodology decisions are pressure-tested with practicing coaches before features ship. The goal is software that lets real coaches deliver their best work without the operational drag. Verifiable profile: Matt Gilbert on LinkedIn.

How we work

The roadmap stays grounded in four principles:

• Operational clarity:every feature should reduce friction in real coaching workflows.
• Transparent value:core capabilities should be included in pricing, not hidden behind layered add-ons. Free forever covers 3 clients with the same core portal features as paid plans.
• Honest positioning:no coach-named App Store listing, no HIPAA/BAA claims, and no fake credentials. CoachGPT drafts for the coach to review; it never auto-applies a plan.
• Iterative improvement:customer feedback directly informs what ships next.
